MONTE GRAPPA

Mount Grappa is a splendid mountain, on a rock where history, nature and tradition intertwine.

Just 2 minutes from the center, following one of the streets that lead to the top of the mountain is enchanted by a breathtaking view. Our advice is to stop by car along the road and have lunch in a "Malga" (typical farmhouse in the area) where the owners serve simple local food such as cheese, salami and homemade pasta.
Once you reach the top of the Monte Grappa historical site of the First World War, you can visit the Military Memorial, a monument dedicated to soldiers fallen in the war. If you are looking for an adventure, we recommend a guided tour with a "motoquad" , a 4-wheel motorcycle, comfortable and easy to drive, that will take you to discover the most evocative views of Monte Grappa.
To experience a real strong emotion, try paragliding or hang gliding that will make you fly in the sky above these enchanting landscapes.

ASOLO

Known in Italy and in the world as the "City of Hundred Horizons" for its unique position on top of a hill, Asolo is one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. Along the winding streets to reach the city center you can see countless villas and palaces, once inhabited by poets, famous travelers, movie stars and celebrities of the past. If you look up at the top of the hill you can admire the Fortress: the remains of an ancient defensive fortress from which you can enjoy a breathtaking view. When you reach the square you can sit at a café, choose a place for an unforgettable aperitif with the Spritz, or sit in a typical restaurant or a restaurant in the center.

After a relaxing shopping tour through the numerous boutiques and artisan shops in the center it is obligatory to stop at the Castle of Queen Caterina Cornaro, ex-queen of Cyprus exiled to Asolo in the 16th century. For art lovers a visit to the Cathedral is suggested, where it is possible to admire the famous Lorenzo Lotto altar piece, and a stop at the Civic Museum. Very striking is the Church of Sant'Anna, located in a small oasis in the vicinity of which is the cemetery that houses the tombs of the famous actress Eleonora Duse and the English explorer Freya Stark.

Traveling only an hour away, you can visit Villa Valmarana at the Nani, Villa La Rotonda and the Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza. Possagno, birthplace of the legendary sculptor Antonio Canova is located just 8 km from Asolo and is famous for the Temple designed and built by the sculptor who is the current Cathedral of the country; we suggest visiting the Gipsoteca, built in 1836, which collects almost all the original models of his sculptures.
